Find the rooms that play your sound.

Paste a playlist or name a few artists you love. NearVibes reads the sound and shows you the live-music rooms nearby that share it.

What's on your headphones?

Use one source or mix a few, then tell us where you'll be. Everything you add shapes the match.

The matcher needs JavaScript. Turn it on to read your music and search for rooms. Everything else on this page works without it.

Straight answers.

What works today, what doesn't yet, and where the rooms come from.

Which music services can I use?

Paste a public playlist link, or type the artists and songs you like. The matcher checks which services are connected each time the page loads, and marks any that aren't as "Not connected yet".

Typed artists and songs work best as plain names, like "Ball Park Music" or "Tame Impala - Borderline".

Where does NearVibes work?

Australia, for now. The venue directory is new and still growing, so some searches come back with only a couple of rooms, or none yet. When that happens it's the real answer, not an error. Try a wider distance, or check back soon.

Where do the rooms come from?

Public venue listings, including OpenStreetMap, plus venues that book acts through AUTOGRAPH. A room only shows up when it's open and inside your distance.

How is the match score worked out?

We compare the genres in your music with the genres each room is known for, and favour rooms that are closer. If you pick a date, rooms with gigs listed that night move up. A score near 100 is a very close match.

Do I need an account?

No. Add your music, pick a place, search.

What happens to what I type in?

It goes to the matcher to work out your genres and find rooms. If you copy a share link, your inputs and an approximate area go into the link itself, after the # sign. See our privacy policy for the details.
